On 17 January 2024 the Moldovan high-level delegation engaged in a study visit in the frame of the Data for Impact project (funded by USAID) at the European Centre in Vienna. This is part of the ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova as part of our Bridge Building function.
The team of the European Centre provided an online training on ‘Innovation in long-term care and quality assurance in delivering social services’ to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Moldova in November 2023.
The European Centre organised the 2nd BB Policy Review on ‘Gender Equality and Care for relatives’ on 05 and 06 June 2023. Around 40 representatives registered from ministries and public bodies from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The North Macedonian Ministry and the European Centre hosted the online peer review “Deinstitutionalisation of children and persons with disabilities” in February 2023.
The Armenian Ministry and the European Centre hosted an online policy review “Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for Social Protection Programmes”, in December 2022.
The Moldovan Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the European Centre organised an online Peer review on “The design of the social assistance benefit in Moldova: Improving targeting and supporting employment”, in September 2022.
On 21-22 June 2022, the European Centre organised and facilitated the peer review “The integrated policy approach applied for vulnerable groups of society with the Active Inclusion Integration Platform (AIIP) of the Republic of Kosovo”.
The European Centre hosted with great success the second virtual 2021 BB Summer School on Evaluation in Social Policies, on 22-24 September 2021. 11 participants from the ‘Bridge building’ region, specifically Albania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, North Macedonia, as well as Ukraine, and European Centre staff exchanged and enhanced knowledge in commissioning…
The European Centre hosted with great success the first virtual 2021 Summer School on Evaluation in Social Policies in August 2023.
The EESPN workshop SDGs priorities & challenges of scocial policy in the Eastern Partnership countries took place at the Europeanc Centre, in Octobre 2019. 22 participants as well as the ‘reflecting friends’ from other UNECE countries discussed common and country specific challenges and opportunities.
