BB Policy Review Report: Supporting the provision of affordable and high-quality professional home care for later life
The European Centre has released the report from the online BB policy review, “Supporting the provision of affordable and high-quality professional home care for later life” hosted by the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research (European Centre) in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Moldova on 25-26 February 2026. This report summarises insights gained during the BB Policy Review and aims at further sharing these with a wider audience. The purpose of this policy review was to share practical information for the provision and development of affordable and high-quality professional home care for older people living at home; to reflect on different strategies and policy measures to support older people with care needs living at home; to discuss opportunities and challenges in the provision of professional home care; and to share promising practices and possible adaptations to further develop professional home care for older people with care needs.
