BB Peer Reviews and Trainings II: Fighting undeclared work in the BB countries

The Ministry of Finance, Labour, and Transfers of the Republic of Kosovo, in collaboration with the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research, is hosting a virtual peer review titled “Fighting Undeclared Work in the BB Countries” on December 5-6, 2024. This two-day event will explore various policy approaches to combat undeclared work, drawing on Kosovo’s experiences, and will include discussions on awareness-raising campaigns, digital tools, inter-institutional cooperation, and targeted inspections. Experts and representatives from the BB countries will share their insights, lessons learned, and effective practices, while also reflecting on EU approaches. We finally aim at jointly formulating policy solutions that help address undeclared work in the BB countries.

This report summarises insights gained during the Policy Review “Gender Equality and Care for Relatives”. The event served as a platform for the BB countries to explore their experiences, strategies, existing institutional structures and approach in care policies related to two crucial aspects for gender equality: policies that help women integrate into the job market and policies on support systems for those in need of care.
