The study compares the findings from three Con3Post regional reports on mobility and posting flows between EU-sending, EU-receiving and third countries, namely Slovenia, Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina; Italy, Belgium, Tunisia and Morocco; and Poland, Finland, Estonia and Ukraine. The study explores the main characteristics of the trend of posting of third country nationals (TCN) to work in the EU construction sector. Read more
The European Centre organised the Launch event “Building Bridges in Social Welfare Policy in Eastern Europe” that took place in Vienna, in September 2016.
The European Centre is currently updating the six reviews of the Western Balkan countries regarding the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR).
In December 2021, our colleagues provided a training on ageing and long-term care, as part of the Bridge Building Peer Reviews and Trainings project.
On the 8 May 2019, the Center for Social Research Halle e.V. organised a peer review in the frame of the Posting of Workers in Eastern Europe (EEPOW) project. The focus was on the implementation of the Directive 96/71/EC regarding the mechanisms and procedures for the enforcement of minimum wages for posted workers and the equal pay principle.
The European Centre hosted with great success the first virtual 2021 Summer School on Evaluation in Social Policies in August 2023.
