CEU Cooperation on preparing country profile for Moldova
As part of an ongoing cooperation between the European Centre and the Central European University in Vienna (CEU), students from the Policy Lab prepared country profiles for Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Georgia for the EESPN website. They will also give good practice examples of social policies in the respective BB countries summarised in the Country Fact Sheet (CFS) of the EESPN.
ACTIVITIES

New project: Support services for bilateral labor market cooperation in the Danube region
The European Centre is supporting the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy (BMAW) in implementing bilateral labor market cooperation in the Danube region with the accession states Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Moldova and Ukraine with services such as studies, reviews and policy advise services during 2025-2029. Peer review: Fighting undeclared work in the bridge building countries
From 5-6 December 2024, the Ministry of Finance, Labour, and Transfers of the Republic of Kosovo hosted an insightful peer review dedicated to addressing the challenge of undeclared work in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership.
