SUMMARY:SDGs priorities & challenges in social welfare policy in Eastern Partnership countries
DESCRIPTION:To support reforms and smooth transitions in adapting policies towards achieving the SDGs\, the European Centre invites for the EESPN event ‘SDGs priorities & challenges in social welfare policy in Eastern Partnership countries’ on 14 October 2019\, in Vienna. \nThe aim of the event is to identify and discuss common challenges and propose meaningful initiatives to achieve the SDGs of Sustainable Development Agenda 2030. \nThe event will gather around 25 participants of the EESPN network\, especially  the Eastern Partnership Countries’ National Liaison Officials (NLO) of the European Centre\, i.e. nominated personnel of relevant Ministries in the UNECE countries\, as well as representatives of think tanks\, NGOs and research organisations. We expect 2-3 participants (1 NLO and 1-2 researchers) per Eastern Partnership country plus NLOs from all other UNECE countries. Read more on the European Centre website here

SUMMARY:BB Summer School on Social Welfare
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce the Bridge Building Summer School on Social Welfare taking place from July 10 to July 14 2017 at the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research (Berggasse 17\, 1090 Vienna). The summer school aims to contribute to more European Cohesion by \n\n\n\n\nbuilding capacities of different stakeholders across sectors and countries;\n\n\n\nproviding training on innovative approaches\, good practices and up-to-date research results; as well as\n\n\n\njoint development of relevant research projects.\n\n\n\n\nThe summer school is co-funded by the Central European Initiative and particularly addresses stakeholders with expertise on Albania\, Armenia\, Azerbaijan\, Bosnia and Herzegovina\, Georgia\, Kosovo\,  the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia\, Moldova\, Montenegro\, Serbia\, Turkey and Ukraine. \n\n\n\nThe registration fee is € 150. Accommodation\, training materials and travel costs up to € 400.- are borne by the organiser.
